Katherine Willow, ND
Founder & Director of the
Carp Ridge Ecowellness Centre
Katherine grew up on a farm north of Toronto in a family of medical and naturopathic doctors. Her parents were role models for giving back to the community and Katherine has inherited their strong sense of social responsibility.
Welcoming others into her life and offering them the opportunity to participate, learn and grow is Katherine’s life’s work. She recognizes that community is important to healing. And she builds community by innovating and inspiring.
Very much a team player, Katherine refers to a variety of other healing practitioners. She is especially interested in the emotional aspects of disease, which are often at the root cause of the problem, and sustainability environmental, political and economic.
Currently Katherine is working with teams of natural health experts and advocates developing programs that promote healthy learning, healing and work environments.
One of the projects Katherine is most passionate about is a program that trains individuals as Hosts to operate their own Healing Houses.
She is delighted to give talks and presentations on natural health care to groups of any size.
